Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day 8;Weekend;On Call Pay Rate: $387.97 - $387.95

This facility is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule:Monday - Friday, 8 or 9 hours per day. Weekend and weeknight call is required.
• Setting: Hospital and Clinic.
• Types of Cases:1st assist in full breath of adult cardiac surgical procedures; Opening and closing of sternotomy and thoracotomy under supervision. Management of sternal wound complications. Tracheostomy, percutaneous gastrostomy tube placement, Tunneled dialysis catheter placement, chest tube placement and management, central lines, Intra-aortic balloon pump placement. Provider must be able to perform pacemakers and laser lead extractions, and pericardial window.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days.
• Certifications:Board Certified or truly Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgery (Minimum 1 year experience required).
• Licensure: Must have an active California license.
