Job Description & Requirements General Surgery Physician StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Call 24;On Call This facility is seeking a General Surgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details & requirements for this opportunity: Schedule: 24-hour call; 7am 7am Job Setting: Inpatient (Hospital) Types of Cases: Bread and Butter general surgery - Hernia repair, cholecystectomy, breast surgery, "lumps and bumps," abscess drainage, endoscopy and colonoscopy, appendectomy, small bowel, and colon surgery. Credentialing Timeframe: 2 weeks Electronic Medical Record (EMR):MediTech Board Certified or Board Eligible North Carolina license Job Benefits Staff Care typically arranges medical or dental malpractice insurance for the contractor providers we match to client opportunities.
