- Schedule:
- Embrace a balanced lifestyle with a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation
- Choose between day shifts (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.) or night shifts (7 p.m. - 7 a.m.), with no call requirements
- Reason for Coverage:
- This locum position is vital until we secure a full-time replacement
- Trauma Level:
- Elevate your trauma care skills in a Level 2 Trauma setting
- EMR:
- Efficiently manage patient records with our Hospital (Cerner) and Clinic (AllScripts) systems
- Patient Demographic:
- Focus on adult and geriatric patients in a diverse and dynamic environment
- Practice Type:
- Enjoy a hospital-based practice with the added opportunity to run a clinic 1-2 times a week for post-surgery patient follow-ups
Required Qualifications:
As we strive for excellence in patient care, we have specific qualifications for interested candidates:
- Board Certification:
- Be recognized for your expertise with Board Certification (Must be double Boarded in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care)
- IA License:
- Ensure seamless integration into our team with an active Iowa license (Not currently accepting IMLC)
- Certifications:
- Demonstrate your commitment to patient safety with BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications (Required)
- Availability:
- Enjoy a balanced lifestyle with the flexibility of 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
- Shift Preference:
- Specify your preference for day or night shifts to tailor your experience
- Immediate Availability:
- Start immediately upon completion of credentialing to make an immediate impact
Rates Needed for Submission:
To streamline the submission process, we require specific rates:
- Malpractice (must be included in rates)
- Orientation
- Hourly
- Holiday
- Overtime (OT after 12 hours)
- Holiday Overtime
- Conversion fee ($25k rate cap)
