Advantage Health Care Centers -Glen Head & Freeport Full Time Hours: Monday through Saturday, 8:00am to 9:00pm. Additional Info: The primary functions of the Director of Behavioral Health is to plan, organize, and manage behavioralhealth services, and to ensure the quality of services provided to patients.DETAILS:-Assists in the supervision of 10-15 behavioral Health Staff. -Hires, trains, evaluates and supervises the performance and of behavioral health staff and, as needed, supervises clinical interns;-Facilitates behavioral health admissions and discharges-Provides therapy to a manageable caseload within a designated amount of time: Follow-up sessions are 30minutes, initials/consults are 1 hour. QUALIFICATIONS:-NY State license-PhD, PsyD/and or LCSW -Familiarity serving persons with intellectual & developmental disabilities desirable.-3-5 years professional clinical practice in related field
