- Compensation: Full-time compensation range from not including bonuses or incentives. -Part-time position compensation ranges from 138K to 147K not including bonuses or incentives-Compensation plan gives consideration to your years of experience post-residency as well as specialty and sub-specialty board certifications.

- Additional Info: The Chair of Psychiatry will directactivities of the mental health staff and ensure that mental health services are delivered in accordance with Mount Sinai South Nassaus policies and procedures, New York State regulations and guidelines,funder guidelines, and established best practices in mental health.JOB DESCRIPTION: -Develops, implements, and monitors clinical programs and services for the Department of Psychiatry, takes steps to improve patient care outcomes/services-Communicates clearly with Departmental leadership, faculty, and staff to outline roles,responsibilities, and expectations and conduct annual performance reviews-Ensuring Compliance with all regulatory (JC, CMS, OMH, DOH) requirements and standards at all times- Ensure effective management and resolution of department-specific patient complaints and critical eventsQUALIFICATIONS:-New York State license-BE/BC in General Psychiatry -Completion of an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program
