Physician / Psychiatry

Outpatient clinic for adults with serious mental illness. May also work at an inpatient psychiatric unit. Exempt, Non-Civil Service, Full-Time, Temporary Appointment. The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct clinical and consultative psychiatric services for a variety of service programs within and outside the Psychiatry Services section and affiliated programs and facilities as assigned and provides clinical guidance for other members of interdisciplinary teams. In addition to the outpatient duties, this position manages new consumers in acute settings, such as, emergency departments, acute inpatient psychiatric units and consultation to law enforcement.
