Seeking a Full Time BC/BE Psychiatrist for an inpatient staff Psychiatrist position in Southwest Virginia. This unit provides a pivotal service to the community. The psychiatrist for this position will have a wide range of experience with inpatient psychiatric issues and should be comfortable with high acuity patients. Specifics Weekdays:Monday- Friday 8 Hours 1:6 Call 1 Weekend per month of onsite rounding Daily rounds by the Psychiatry team including 1 Psychiatrist and 1 Psychiatric Nurse Pa Daily therapeutic services lead by licensed therapists and counselors including: Individual & Group psychotherapy On-site case management and utilization review Recreational activities Pharmacology Family therapy Educational services Benefits: Competitive compensation Competitive call pay Sign on bonus Relocation Assistance PTO CME Full Benefits Details: Accommodate 20 patients and contains a large multipurpose treatment room, a group therapy room, a recreational therapy room, a kitchen, laundry room, offices and work area.
