CompHealth is assisting a medical facility in eastern Kentucky with their search for a general inpatient staff psychiatrist. The patients attend daily individual and/or group therapy sessions, and they need an additional physician to help with growth and facility expansion. There are discharge planners and case managers that help coordinate patient care following hospitalization. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The call schedule is 1 weekday night per week that is phone only, and 1 weekend per month rounding on the IP unit. Candidates can be board certified or board eligible within 5 years of completing your training.
