A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensedAdvanced Practice Nurse (APRN) to join their growing Primary Care Department.In this role, theAdvanced Practice Nurse (APRN) will be responsible forproviding high quality outpatient care for patients within their Integrated Behavioral Health Program. Responsibilities: TheAdvanced Practice Nurse (APRN) will: Examine, obtain medical history and treat psychiatric conditions on a consulting basis in multiple primary care locations. Collaborate with patients primary care provider for a treatment plan, including medication management and referral to outpatient psychiatry Collaborate on improvement in care delivery and service with management, other Physicians and staff Work with Practice Management to ensure compliance with billing and coding requirements Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: Graduation from accredited dvanced Practice Nurse (APRN) program Valid, unrestricted Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain. Valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance certification 1+ year of experience in Psychiatry
