Job Description An excellent opportunity for a full-time neonatologist is available to join a practice in Michigan that emphasizes a team approach. Our highly experienced neonatologists emphasize a compassionate team approach to neonatal care that covers 17 counties in mid-Michigan. The 54-bed level 3 NICU cares for approximately 35 to 40 patients a day and is supported by a broad range of pediatric subspecialists. Enjoy a block schedule of 2 weeks on and /2 weeks off with call from home.

  • Join a well-established team of neonatologists and NNPs
  • Level III 55-bed unit with an ADC of 35-40; HFV, nitric oxide, and whole-body cooling
  • Block schedule of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off with call taken from home
  • Some newborn nursery coverage (approximately 60%)
  • An NNP provides 24/7 in-house support, with an on-call neonatologist on standby
  • Nurse-led transport team provides coverage to multiple level I and level II hospitals in the region
