Physician / Maternal Fetal Medicine

A hospital is seeking a maternal and fetal medicine physician for locum tenens coverage. There are many places to visit while on assignment in Central Michigan. Take a trip to Belle Isle Park, Mackinac Island, or the Detroit Zoo. The clinician is responsible for reading approximately 55 ultrasounds per day, utilizing 5 ultrasound rooms with 5 technicians. The position involves spending 2 days per week reading ultrasounds and 3 days per week in the office seeing patients, with flexibility in the combination of clinic and ultrasound duties. The role does not include deliveries; however, the specialist may be utilized for up to 2 weeks per month if needed. Weeknight and weekend call duties are rotated on a 1:3 basis, with call coverage limited to weekends, starting from 5:00 PM on Friday and ending at 8:00 AM on Monday.
