Job Overview:

The Family Support and Stabilization team provides strength-based services to families, children, and youth under 21 years old who have significant behavioral health needs and are identified by the Department of Children and Families.
Services include clinical, family, and youth support, as well as parenting classes.
The therapist, in collaboration with Family/Youth Support Workers, provides intense and flexible family therapy in the home/community setting with the purpose of improving the youth and family s functioning.

Responsibilities:

•  Provide home-based family therapy to clients and families of diverse socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds.
•  Contribute to the overall success of the team of service providers working with clients and families referred by the Department of Children and Families (DCF).
•  Attend required client meetings.
•  Maintain client records.
•  Follow organizational procedures and protocols.
•  Attend trainings and staff meetings.
•  Complete required client paperwork in a timely manner. Qualifications:

•  MUST be licensed or license eligible as LMHC, LCSW, or LICSW.
•  Master's degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or related field) that meets the academic requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
•  Clinical license - LMHC, LCSW, or LICSW preferred.
•  Minimum of two (2) years' experience in clinical setting working with children, adolescents, and families with severe behavioral, social, and emotional difficulties.
•  Demonstrated strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and ability to contribute to team objectives required.
