A practice in South Carolina is hiring a physician to replace 2 retiring physicians. You will be joining 4 primary care physicians in a private practice. You will round on your own patients in the morning, then work in the clinic afterwards. On the weekends, you share with the other physicians and 3 other groups for a 1:9 call. During the week it is a 1:4 call. This is an A rated-hospital with awards for outstanding patient experience. There is also an option to take ED shifts for extra pay.
The hospital is paying the guaranteed salary and the benefits. You will be offered life insurance/disability, a sign-on bonus, medical benefits, CME, a retirement package, relocation assistance, malpractice insurance, and student loan repayment.
