PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs for FT shifts and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability. Pay rates range are based on employment status, shift, specific facility, site needs, licensure, and experience. Shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and can be discussed upon interview. Responsibilities for Physician: Provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the healthcare needs of the patients within the facility Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement a treatment plan, and evaluate/modify therapeutic regimens Evaluate patients who have returned from off-site treatment Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies throughout the facility Coordinate, lead and participate in educational and training activities related to medical care for patients Qualifications for Physician: Current, unrestricted Physician license in state of AZ Current DEA registration in Arizona Board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties A valid CPR card A minimum of 1 year experience in primary care with correctional healthcare preferred Must possess strong written communication and verbal skills and have strong computer skills.
