JOB DESCRIPTION: UTMB is seeking a full-time board-certified or board-eligible Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our mainland team. The primary location for this position will be at our Friendswood clinic with deliveries performed at our Clear Lake Campus. As part of our mainland team, the practice will consist of seven full-time physicians, four Advance Practice Providers, and nocturnist staff all of which provide full-scope Obstetrics and Gynecology services to the practice's communities. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Providers are responsible for direct patient care four to four and a half days a week and participation in daytime on-call coverage. The Practice currently performs approximately to 850 deliveries/year at the UTMB Clear Lake Campus. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: MD or DO degree and a current and unrestricted license to practice in the State of Texas. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Registration with Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA); Certification with American Heart Associate in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) every two years; Administrative experience.
