POSITION TITLE: PHYSICIAN FLSA: EXEMPT REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Osteopathy (D.O.) Degree.
- Completed approved residency program in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics.
- Board Certified.
- Florida licensed.
- DEA License.
- BLS required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Provides direct health care to general patient population, routine, acute, and chronic care.
- After hours calls as needed
- Serves as Family Practice/Internal Medicine/Pediatric consultant to other providers.
- Supervises ARNP's and PA's as appropriate.
- Provides patient education.
- Actively participates in and promotes quality assurance program.
- Obtains hospital privileges in respective specialty, as applicable.
- Responsible for updating License and DEA renewals
- Other duties as assigned.
