Physician / Hospitalist

Nocturnist sought to join an established Hospitalist Program providing 24/7 coverage at a 300+-bed teaching hospital. Closed ICU. Work 7 on, 7 off schedule with an average of 5 admissions per shift. Supervision, consult with and teach Residents in the Department of Medicine and Family Practice as well as medical consultation as necessary for Surgery and OB/GYN Residents. Provide emergency inpatient coverage of medical patients on the non-teaching medical service. Employed by an independent, academically affiliated community hospital, position offers salary of $276,000 plus WRVU incentives as well as substantial benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, 403b, tuition reimbursement and much more.
