Group is seeking an experienced advanced endoscopist trained in ERCP and EUS to join its advanced endoscopy team.
Just opened a new state-of-the-art endoscopy center with an advanced endoscopy suite. The advanced endoscopy team performs nearly 2,000 advanced procedures annually. The Division of Gastroenterology is comprised of 25 physicians and 6 advanced practitioners all committed to providing compassionate, high quality, patient focused care.
Providers see approximately 35,000 outpatients per year for a wide variety of GI and liver related problems including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, biliary tract disorders and diseases of the pancreas, colon cancer, and disorders of the esophagus.
Physicians also perform approximately 21,000 procedures annually.
Many of the Division s physicians are frequently recognized in local and national publications as among the best in their field. The Division offers a collegial and supportive environment in which providers feel their efforts are recognized and valued. All of these factors contribute to an extremely low turnover rate within the Division.
The GI Division also has an ACGME accredited GI Fellowship Program with staff physicians holding academic appointments at Tufts Medical School. Staff gastroenterologists have the opportunity to interact with fellows, residents and medical students, and to teach at Tufts Medical School if so inclined.
