Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Gastroenterology Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Clive, IA Service Setting: Outpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing Coverage Type: Clinical Only Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 730a-4p Patient Demographics: Adults in the endoscopy suite Patient Volume: 12-14 No. of Endoscopies per day: Min. of 12; 5 days per week Physicians in Practice: 3 - 2 physicians for clinic patients & OP procedures; 1 physician is for procedures only Required Procedures: - Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry, Small Bowel Biopsy, Lower GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy - Types of Upper GI Endoscopy: with Biopsy, with Foreign Body Removal, with Banding of Varices, Diagnostic, with PEG, possible ERCPs Lab & X-Ray Onsite: Yes EMR: Allscripts Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: Active IA License or IMLC BC/BE ACLS, ATLS, NALS, APLS or PALS CPR Certification Clean Record COVID Vaccination proof Must be available full time (6 months assignment)
