Job Summary: Under limited supervision, produce high quality screening and diagnostic exams, DEXA exams, educating patients regarding the scheduled exam, accurately documenting the completed exams in the EHR and imaging reporting system, assisting the radiologist with breast ultrasound biopsies, stereotactic biopsies and breast localizations. Performing high quality breast ultrasound exams under limited supervision and documenting and reporting accurate findings to the radiologist. This position is assigned at main campus and satellite facilities. Qualifications Education Required: Graduate of an Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) approved School of Radiologic Technology Preferred: Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) approved School of Sonography in addition to JRCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology Licensure/Certification Required: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiology (R), ARRT Mammography (M), ARRT Breast sonography (BS) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Breast (BR), California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Radiology, CRT Mammography and American Heart Association BLS Experience Required: Minimum three (3) years as a Mammography Technologist and two (2) years as a licensed Breast Sonographer Employees will receive: Excellent Medical, Dental, Vision, 403b Retirement plan, FSA, Life Insurance, PTO, Tuition Reimbursement, Personalized weight training, outdoor activities and aerobic fitness plans available.
