Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Ypsilanti Twp, MI (10 miles E of Ann Arbor)
Part time 1-2 days per week
$60-$65 per hour
We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice in Ypsilanti Twp, MI. We are looking for a provider who can join us part time 1-2 days per week providing direct patient care within our integrated practice. Our ideal Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is holistically minded, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point and joint injections. The position will start as part time with a flexible schedule, with plans to increase to full time as the patient base increases.

Duties:
  • Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exams (orthopedic and functional focused), review pertinent med records/imaging)
  • Order and review tests/labs
  • Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
  • Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises with referral to PT as needed
  • Manage patient care
  • Treatments- perform trigger point, joint and regen med injections
  • Documentation and progress notes
  • Attend team meetings
  • Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • PA/NP license in MI
  • Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
  • Experience with joint injections a plus but we will pay for/provide training
Schedule:
  • 1-2 days per week
Compensation:
  • $60-$65 per hour plus production bonuses (DOE)
