Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. This is a 32hr per week full-time (full benefits) permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to provide holistic, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population. This role involves providing comprehensive primary care services, including preventative care, acute care, and chronic disease management.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive and continuous primary care to patients
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of health conditions and diseases.
  • Develop individualized care plans based on patient's health status, preferences, and goals.
  • Perform routine check-ups and health risk assessments.
  • Coordinate and manage patient care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Maintain a strong focus on prevention and patient education.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in primary care and participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Adhere to all medical ethics and standards.
  • Document patient information, treatment plans, and interventions in patient medical records.
  • Participate in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and patient care programs.

Qualifications:
  • Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current and unencumbered New Mexico NP or PA license (will consider relocation/licensing candidates.)
