Sigma Healthcare Team is looking for an Experienced Registered Physician Assistant to work onsite at our client's hospital in Rochester.

Shift: 3 13's or 7on/7off -13 hour shifts Days/Nights, Weekends, Holidays, On Call, Call back per unit needs

Job Description:

Exciting opportunity to work in the Neuromedical ICU.

Responsibilities include direct care for patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures as well as medical neurology patients.

Direct care responsibilities include admission work-ups, daily management (including complex ventilator management, central lines, arterial lines, and transfer/discharge).

Other responsibilities include student precepting, and support of unit-based nurses.

Applicant must be motivated, flexible, and independent and possess excellent clinical skills in critical care.

The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training.

Must Have:

Acute Care NCCPA certified.

Minimum of 2 years critical care experience.

Neurosurgical or Neurology experience is highly preferred
