Physician Assistant

We are looking for a Physician Assistant to be responsible for examining patients, prescribing medicines, and ordering diagnostic tests. The PA will work under the supervision of the Physician. Consulting with Physicians when necessary.

To be a successful PA, you should be formally educated to examine patients, diagnose injuries and illnesses, and provide treatment. You should demonstrate strong attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physician Assistant Responsibilities:
Interviewing, examining, and diagnosing patients' injuries and illnesses.
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Sutures, I&D, Laceration, Splint know-how - patients of all ages
Prescribing medications and suggesting lifestyle changes.
Reviewing and maintaining patients' medical histories and records and recording patients' progress.
Providing documentation for insurance companies.
Educating and counseling patients and their families.
Knowledgeable of EMR- EClinicals preferably
Researching the latest treatments, innovations, advances, and trends in the medical industry.

Hours: 8:00am-11:00pm and EOW
This job is for an opportunity to work with a well established urgent care center with multiple locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
