Job Locations US-TX-Denton Type Full-Time Overview Physician Assistant It's time to practice healthcare the way you always wanted to. Marathon Health is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to support Denton County from its near-site employer-sponsored health and wellness center in Denton, Texas. You'll treat individuals and families (ages 2+) in a healthcare setting that values quality of care, longer appointment times, and a more relaxed daily rhythm all so you can build and grow trusted relationships with your patients and help them reach their wellness goals. Role highlights include: 40 hour per week position no on-call or weekends required. Weekly Schedule: Mon/Wed/Fri: 7:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. Tues/Thurs: 10:00a.m. - 7:00p.m. Intentional focus on preventive care and better outcomes for patients and their families Longer-than-average appointment times for provider visits. WATCH: What It's Like to Practice Healthcare at Marathon Health Responsibilities As a Physician Assistant at Marathon Health, you'll deliver primary care services, conduct onsite health risk assessments, provide wellness education, support individual lifestyle changes, and help individuals manage chronic conditions. In addition to patient-care responsibilities, you'll also be expected to build trusted relationships with the center's staff, and you may be responsible for providing clinical leadership, assisting with training, and overseeing the quality of care at your health center.
