Virtus Healthcare Staffing Seeks Physical Therapist for Outpatient Homecare in Paoli, PA

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with an outpatient homecare facility in Paoli, PA to find a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Therapist (PT). This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled PT to make a positive impact on patients' lives by providing in-home physical therapy services and helping them regain their mobility and independence.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients in their homes to assess their physical condition, functional abilities, and needs.

Develop individualized treatment plans that address each patient's specific goals, focusing on improving strength, coordination, balance, range of motion, and pain management.

Utilize a variety of physical therapy techniques, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, modalities, and gait training.

Educate patients and their families on safe exercise techniques, home safety modifications, and proper use of assistive devices.

Document progress in patients' medical records and collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment during home visits.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay up-to-date on current physical therapy practices.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.

Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Pennsylvania.

Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience in an outpatient or home care setting (preferred).

Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Ability to document effectively in medical records.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in treating patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric conditions.

Experience in home care physical therapy.

Proficient in therapeutic exercise techniques and manual therapy skills.

Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
