Job Description:

Are you a Physical Therapist Assistant looking to join a great team of professionals? Join our team in Frederick, MD at Frederick Health Hospital. This is a Full Time, Physical Therapist Assistant position with full and competitive benefits.

Weekend Requirement: One Weekend Day per month

Vacation Requirement: One Major and One Minor vacation

This is a large team win a fast paced hospital environment which clinicians treat a variety of diagnoses with a common mix of orthopedics, neurological and critical care caseloads. Physical Therapist Assistants with at least one (1) year hospital acute experience are encouraged to apply. We will also consider new graduates with strong acute clinical rotations. The requirements:

Degree from an accredited school approved by CAPTE

Current state licensure or eligibility in Physical Therapy in Maryland

Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association

Will display strong skills in flexibility, time management, leadership, and communication

Focuses on the patient and providing the utmost in customer service excellence

Experience with documentation utilizing EMR

The responsibilities:

Deliver quality physical therapy services according to treatment plans for patients

Document progress toward identified objectives

Provide accurate and timely documentation for current patient caseload and oversee compliance of department.

Participate in a positive work environment to promote teamwork and communication

Conduct patient and family education

Display strong skills in flexibility, time management, and communication
