The right candidate will support the 89ATKS, a MQ-9 Reaper Squadron conducting Remote Split Operations from Ellsworth AFB. The current requirements are subject to change based on mission needs. These include ensuring aircrews are qualified to fly tasked missions and that personnel have the proper security clearances to perform the mission. Security Clearance: Top Secret/Special Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) is a MUST. Period of Performance: Currently in Option Year 1 with three option years remaining (thru 28 Feb 2026) Duty Location: Government site at Ellsworth Air Force Base (AFB), SD (Rapid City, SD area) with occasional telework allowed during base shutdown/inclement weather Work Hours: Normal work hours are local time Monday through Friday excluding Federal holidays and Government facility closures. Hours may be adjusted to start earlier or later based on mission requirements but with no more than a two-hour difference from normal work hours. Travel Requirements: Only local area travel is anticipated. Qualifications: Education:
• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Experience:
• Minimum of one year of experience working in a TS/SCI facility

• Minimum of one year of physical security or related security experience

• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience Other:

• Ability to communicate in English.

• Familiarity with using Microsoft Office Suite/Microsoft 365 Position Responsibilities:

• Assist visitor control for Special Compartment Information Facility (SCIF) AF11-007 and any applicable subordinate SCIFs.

• Work directly with Air Combat Command (ACC)/Special Access Program (SAP) Security Office (SSO) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) to ensure completion of the reaccreditation of SCIF AF11-007 and any applicable subordinate SCIFs.

• Ensure all aspects of physical construction of accredited SCIFs are keep current and points out any issues that need fixed (i.e., doors breaking, weather stripping allowing light into SCIF, etc.).

• Update and maintain Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC) and TEMPEST addendum checklists for SCIF AF11-007 and any applicable subordinate SCIFs.

• Ensure all SCIF changes or modifications are allowed within DIA and ACC/SSO guidelines and approved by DIA Discretionary Access Control (DAC)-2A2.

• Draft co-utilization agreements if required for Special Access Program (SAP) access as required.

• Assist with updating and maintaining the unit's SCIF standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Action Procedures (EAPs).

• Ensure monthly random inspections are executed and logged.

• Ensure quarterly alarm tests are completed, logged, and notify 28th Bomb Wing (28 BW)/Security Forces Squadron (SFS) of completion.

• Interface with Ellsworth Security Offices in regard to SCIF AF11-007 Operations: 89th Attack Squadron Unit Security Managers, the 28 BW/SFS, and Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) as required.

• Assist with unit alarm monitoring program for Bldg. 1008 and any applicable subordinate SCIFs.

• Assist with updating and maintaining the unit badge roster and Alarmed Facility Access Authorization (AFAA) MFR for Bldg 1008.

• Assist with maintenance and disposal of SCI material in accordance with Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), Department of Defense (DoD) security manuals, Air Force (AF) regulations and ACC/SSO guidance.

• Assist with internal and external inspections for SCIF AF11-007 and any applicable subordinate SCIFs.

• Assist with annual reports to ACC/SSO.

• Complete on-line computer-based training as directed by SSO (In accordance with ICD, DoD, USAF, and ACC/SSO guidance) within 30 days of start date.

• Attend in-residence training for ICD 705 for Physical Security (at government's expense).

• Co-Manage, Co-maintain, inspect, and test Intrusion Detection System (IDS)/Alarm Detection System (ADS) alarm system for Bldg 1008

• Change/update/reprogram/maintain security codes in IDS/ADS, cypher locks, and X-09 or newer locks.

• Maintain SF-700s, Security Container Information, 701s, Activity Security Checklist, and 702s, Security Container Check sheet for containers located within the SCIF
