Physical Security Specialist with Security Clearance

Duties Implements policies and develops procedures for the physical protection of base facilities. Conducts routine physical and internal security inspections unannounced, detecting deficiencies and violations of directives. Prepares security reports such as ammunition and explosives reports, arms rooms and bunker reports, physical security inspection reports, crime prevention reports, etc. Prepares various briefings to personnel related to the physical security program. Requirements Conditions of Employment One year trial/probationary period may be required. Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. This position requires you to be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance of access for the duration of employment which includes a background investigation and credit check. OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Criminal Justice. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. When receiving medical or dental care in the overseas area, employees generally must pay for service up front and submit claims to their insurance companies for reimbursements. Access to medical and dental care in Poland is primarily through the use of local Polish medical and dental facilities on a fee basis with the possibility of reimbursement based on an individual's health insurance plan. Accessing medical care on the military installation is extremely limited.
