StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with the Nation's largest Healthcare System to assist with the recruitment of a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Program Director for a new Residency program, which is located in the FL Panhandle and affiliated with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine.

Qualifications:
  • Must be board certified
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of educational and / or administrative experience
  • Have at least 3 years of GME administrative experience prior to appointment
  • Be willing to combine administrative and diagnostic (teaching) responsibilities
  • Have strong administrative and team building skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the program in their vision and recruit their own core faculty.
  • Candidates with recent scholarly activity such as peer reviewed funding, publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in textbooks, publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or participation in national committees or educations organizations highly encouraged to apply.
The hospital you will cover is a fully accredited healthcare facility with more than 1,400 employees and 500 providers. It is a 288-bed, acute-care facility offering 24/7 emergency services. The facility also offers a Behavioral Health Center, Cancer Center, Chest Pain Center with PCI Resuscitation, Comprehensive Breast Center, Family Center, Heart & Vascular Center, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Orthopedic/Spine Center, physical therapy services, rehabilitation center, stroke center, surgical services, Weight Loss Surgery Center and network-of-care affiliated physician practices.
