Position Overview

The primary focus for this position will be inpatient General PM&R. In addition to clinical care, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the education and mentorship of our students, residents, and fellows in one of the largest PM&R training programs in the U.S. Research will vary depending on your interest. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.

About the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

The Department of PM&R, led by Dr. Heakyung Kim, includes 47 board-certified physiatrists as well as 33 residents and 5 fellows. At UT Southwestern, we take pride in our thriving inpatient and outpatient services, which are at the heart of our commitment to patient care and medical education.

Candidate Requirements

  • MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited university
  • ABPMR Board certification or eligibility
  • Eligibility to obtain medical licensure in the State of Texas
