Academic Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Opening in Greenville, NC x000D Raleigh 86m x000D x000D Seeking a board certified/board eligible PM&R physician to join their expanding faculty. x000D x000D The successful candidate will provide care on a CARF-accredited General Rehabilitation, Spinal Cord Injury, and/or Traumatic Brain Injury inpatient unit as well as in an outpatient clinical setting. x000D Established division inclusive of 9 faculty members x000D State of the art 75-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit x000D Multiple outpatient clinical settings including pain clinic, lifestyle medicine clinic, wound clinic, and neurosurgery clinic x000D Participation in the training of residents, medical students, and other allied health students x000D Research is supported and is a valued component of the position x000D Opportunities exist for performance of EMGs and ultrasounds and other outpatient clinical needs including outpatient musculoskeletal clinics in our newly developed Ortho/Musculoskeletal service line, amputee care, spasticity management including baclofen pumps, Botox and phenol, EMG/NCS, and wound/hyperbaric medicine x000D x000D School of Medicine provides accredited education programs for medical students, residents and fellows, doctoral students in the basic medical sciences, and practicing physicians. The hallmarks of these programs are close-faculty student interaction, experiential learning, and development of students ability to continue learning even after they leave the formal educational setting. Our education programs are consistent with our missions of enhancing generalist training and offering opportunities in medicine to minority and disadvantaged students.
