Right here, right now, this is your chance to make history and put a ding in the universe. Lucayan Technology LLC is hiring a Photographer/Videographer for a position on Kauai, HI. Supporting the Range Ops Department. Manages and coordinates video production, video documentation and photographer duties utilizing Digital Still Cameras (DSLR) to capture Range operations events and PMRF Public Affairs general interest and news releases. Responsibilities Specific assignments and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas: Participates in pre-operational planning meetings and briefings to gather detailed information video requirements, for operational events. Sets-up and operates audio-visual equipment and manages video and film archives for PMRF and tenant activities. Writes scripts, video tapes and edits video news magazine and news releases. Interfaces with PMRF and other elements on video production and distribution requirements. Provides video/graphic exhibits as required. Assists engineering personnel with video documentation as required. Works with graphics personnel to enhance Graphic products. Accomplishes photographic requirements IAW PMRF Range Scheduling System forecasts to identify future requirements. Attends and participates in briefings, scheduling, and planning meetings to gather operational requirements. Reviews and extracts data requirements from the UDS for Testing and Evaluation type missions. Works in a digital environment utilizing a Windows based PC, MS-Office, Adobe Photoshop CS 5, Adobe Bridge, Adobe Light room, Adobe in Design, Roxio Disk media Creator, Media FACE 5.0 Design, Final Cut Pro, Cinema Tools, DVD Studio Pro, MPEG Stream Clip and Compressor Software. Create, maintain, and document all photos in a historical file. Coordinates the distribution of data products IAW the UDS for Testing and Evaluation type missions. Produces images downloaded off different media types to a Fujii Dry Lab 600 and Epson Stylus Pro 11880 Utilizes a CD/DVD Duplicator to mass produce photos via disc media. Supports ERVS (Extended Range Video System) missions aboard the PMRF assigned Range Helicopter Required to be trained and qualified to support the Instrumentation Control Center (ICC) department during times of no op support. Performs other duties as directed by Supervisor. Additional Responsibilities Lifting, pushing/pulling with a limit of 25-50 lbs. Work positions requirements: walking, sitting, standing, crawling, kneeling, or cramped, and work requiring repeated stooping or frequent climbing. Working environment activities: Customer contact, extended workday, confined work area, office laboratory and field assignment. Minimum Qualifications High school or equivalent Must be able to obtain and maintain flight qualification as project specialist to fly on-board US Navy and Contractor aircraft. Must be able to be certified in the Intermediate Passenger Helicopter Aircrew Breathing Device (IPHABD) Survival Training (Dunker Training) Must be able to lift, carry, install, and remove video equipment and peripherals. Must be able to operate video systems aboard Multi-Purpose Craft (MPC), other vessels and PMRF aircraft. Prefer four years of experience in video production and editing. Security Clearance Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a US Government Security Investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.
