Summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a talented and versatile photographer to capture various aspects of the company's corporate, marketing and business functions. The Photographer - Senior Creative Asset Developer will have a solid grasp of product photography and a skill set that includes not only composition and shooting, but also editing, retouching and other post-shooting functions. This position can be remote but will require an individual to work in our Euclid, OH office / plant location for product/studio shoots


What You Will Do:

  • Capture the functionality, features, benefits and uniqueness of individual products by delivering high-quality digital photography for multiple business units to be used for both web and print.
  • Oversee all aspects of the photography process - pre-shoot, shoot and post-shoot - to ensure the highest levels of quality and professionalism. These aspects include (but are not limited to): lighting, styling, composition, cleanliness, editing, retouching and color correcting.
  • Balance daily workflows, deadlines and shooting schedules while adhering to high standards for accuracy, aesthetics and productivity.
  • Maintain and manage image library and photography archives and keep key team members updated on status of completed photos to facilitate asset deployment as needed.
  • Work with creatives and the marketing team to identify and understand client needs.
  • Travel to customer sites 15-25% of the time to procure application photos that highlight product features and benefits.
  • Assign overflow projects to third-party vendors and oversee all project aspects, including (but not limited to): booking, scheduling, equipment rental, art direction, and asset delivery,
  • Stay apprised of the company's extremely high standards of safety and quality and ensure that they are reflected in all product and application images.
  • Embrace additional responsibilities as required to support the Company's 2025 Strategy, showcasing adaptability, and a growth-oriented mindset.

Required Skills & Education

  • Associates, BA or BFA in commercial photography or related field or a minimum of 5 years' experience with commercial studio photography
  • Professional photography portfolio that demonstrates a working knowledge of digital photography, including lighting, composition, color quality, and aesthetics. Please include a link to showcase your work.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom, and Capture One Pro
  • Proficient in Mac platform
  • Strong knowledge in both studio and natural lighting
  • Creative thinking to formulate ideas quickly and effectively and drive decisive on-set troubleshooting of photography challenges.
  • Expert skills in retouching, editing, color correcting and compositing photography.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Comfortable taking feedback and direction.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize/multi-task and follow projects through to completion in deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work solo or with a team, including outside vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of video production, editing, motions graphics a plus
