Pharmacy Technician

GHR Healthcare is looking for an outpatient Pharmacy Technician III to join Penn Medicine in the Philadelphia, PA area.

Supports all Concierge Service and Specialty Pharmacy related activities including, but not limited to, prescription intake, benefits investigation, prescription dispensing, and bedside or clinic delivery when required. Determines patient's insurance requirements for pre-certification and faxes all information required to insurance companies to ascertain an authorization number for pre-certification for specialty pharmacy and discharge concierge patients. Works closely with Clinical Pharmacists, providers and specialty clinic personnel to ensure medication access to discharge or specialty pharmaceuticals. Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization.

H.S. Diploma/GED X Associate's Degree Or X Bachelor's Degree X Inpatient pharmacy or sterile compounding experience Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications Req Pref Licenses/Registrations/Certifications Licenses/Registrations/Certifications (Drop Down) X Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification upon resume submission.
