Job Description: We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technicians to join our closed door pharmacy team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing prescription orders, preparing medications, and supporting the overall operations of the pharmacy.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and interpret prescription orders from healthcare providers.
- Accurately enter prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
- Prepare and package medications according to established procedures.
- Perform quality control checks on prepared medications.
- Maintain proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals.
- Assist pharmacists with inventory management and order processing.
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare facilities and patients.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred.
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a closed door or institutional pharmacy.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn pharmacy software systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
