Pharmacy Supervisor

Job Description As a Pharmacy Supervisor at Physicians Regional Healthcare System you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best, providing quality care to our patients. Requirements: Education: Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. A licensed Pharmacist in the state of Florida. PGY1 residency or a minimum of three (3) years of clinical hospital experience, preferred. About the job: Collaborate on our pharmacy leadership team to grow the pharmacy department into the best department. Lead a team of pharmacists, technicians, residents and students. Actively participate on the pharmacy and therapeutics committee. Liaison with nursing, physicians and various departments throughout the hospital. Ensure compliance with the board of pharmacy, USP 797, USP 800, the joint commission and other regulatory bodies. Manage the day to day operation of the pharmacy, including the pharmacy schedule and payroll. Staff as needed in the department. Provides educational services to patients and healthcare professionals. Participates in the training of new pharmacist, residents, students and technicians. We know it's not just about finding a job.
