HOW YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE You work the day shift, Monday - Friday. This is a salary position with many leadership opportunities. As a Pharmacy Services Director, you have overall responsibility for planning, organizing and directing the operation of the Inpatient Pharmacy, Retail Pharmacy, 340b Pharmacy, and Infection Control Departments. This Pharmacy Services Director position ensures compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to the care provided to all age groups of patients ranging from newborns to the elderly. This position directs and controls the purchase and inventory maintenance of pharmaceuticals and related substances and supplies. Working closely with your team, you will ensure that services are of the best quality, are cost contained, and are carried out in an expeditious manner. The Pharmacy Services Director works closely with the nursing and medical staffs and other clinical department managers in addressing Pharmacy issues as they are related to the services provided to all patients ranging from the newborn to the elderly. OUR IDEAL PHARMACY SERVICES DIRECTOR A minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, Doctorate of Pharmacy preferred. Two years of supervisory experience preferred. Be licensed as a pharmacist within the State of Colorado within 90 days of hire. Education in all age groups ranging from newborn to the geriatric population obtained either in school education, experience or subsequent training. Basic computer proficiency. Knowledge of additional languages besides English would be preferred.
