In collaboration with Crescent City Recruitment Group, our client is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to enhance their pharmacy department. This role involves close work with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure optimal inventory management, precise prescription services, patient counseling, and immunization duties. The ideal candidate will thrive in a customer-facing role, maintaining high standards of service and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager for efficient sales and inventory management.
- Accurately order, weigh, measure, mix drugs, and fill prescriptions to meet customer needs.
- Offer professional advice to patients, including those seeking non-prescription medication.
- Maintain effective communication with health and insurance professionals.
- Conduct patient immunizations and schedule pharmacy associates efficiently.
- Assist in the training and development of pharmacy personnel, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Implement strategies for continuous improvement in customer service and department operations.
- Ensure compliance with company, health department, and OSHA standards for a safe and clean working environment.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints with courtesy and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate department records and reports.
Background Profile:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree.
- HIPAA certification.
- Active West Virginia Pharmacist License.
- Current West Virginia Immunization License.
- Proficient knowledge of pharmacy operations.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service.
