More info about area: Job Announcement Flyer: Duties:Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. ? Responsible for the management of pharmacy staff and the department including maintaining state licensure requirements; participating in management and leadership committees; overseeing pharmacy staff schedules, including personnel issues; maintaining regulatory agency compliance; supporting clinic and Contract Health guidelines; assessment, implementation and evaluations of all pharmacy computer programs/technology, including e-prescribing. ? Will work cooperatively with Providers in the planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the pharmacy program in the clinic. ? Will maintain all records related to the dispensing of medications in accordance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. ? Will assist in developing specifications regarding quantity and source for the purchase of all drugs, chemicals, antibiotics, biological, and pharmaceutical preparations. ? Assist in coordinating and maintaining department policies and procedures in compliance with the Bad River Clinic, Bad River Health Department, Indian Health Services, and State, Federal, and JCAHO requirements. ? Will conduct drug utilization studies, and control drug costs and inventory. ? Streamline pharmacy operations; maintain formulary. ? Will work cooperatively with the clinic administrator to purchase drugs and supplies using federal supply schedules and discounts as required. Qualifications:Required: Graduate of accredited school of pharmacy Active Pharmacist License in good standing, ability to apply for Wisconsin Pharmacist license prior to start date Thorough knowledge of the theory and practice of pharmaceuticals and pharmacology. Thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical control and record-keeping procedures and requirements Preferred: Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, and/or retail pharmacy. Work Type:Permanent, Full
