Accountabilities: As a Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and positioning AstraZeneca as a leader through long-term relationships with Cardiologists and key accounts. You will maintain superior product and disease state knowledge and effectively educate healthcare professionals about our products. You will also leverage insights to create a customer engagement plan, use a wide variety of promotional resources and analytical tools to understand and evaluate the business, and work with your Regional Sales Director and District Sales Manager to develop a local strategy and business plan to generate recognizable increases of sales in your territory. Essential Skills/Experience: Bachelor's Degree At least 2 years of documented, full-time, successful pharmaceutical sales OR 3 yrs sales experience in scientific/clinical/healthcare environment OR demonstrated experience & knowledge within healthcare ecosystems Strong clinical skill, and sales ability A valid driver's license and safe driving record Internal candidate must be Career Ladder Level 2 and above Desirable Skills/Experience: Four or more years in AZ Pharmaceutical Sales (Internal Only), or related sales experience Two or more years Hospital selling experience Account management experience Experience in working with interventional cardiologist Experience working in the Cath Laboratory Experience influencing formulary decisions At AstraZeneca, we are on a journey to bring life-saving medicines to patients.
