Bark Avenue Pet Resort is seeking a Pet Care Specialist.
Bark Avenue Pet Resort is Mesa's premier pet boarding, grooming, training, and daycare facility. We aim to provide our clients and their pets with the highest quality of care - which means we're always on the hunt for the best-in-the-industry pet professionals to join our team.
As a Pet Care Specialist you will:
- Supervise multiple dogs at once in a group play setting
- Spend quality one-on-one time exercising dogs
- Splash around with dogs swimming in our on-site outdoor pool
- Maintain the facility's high-standard of cleanliness - disinfect floors, sanitize kennels and play areas, refill mop buckets, laundry, sanitize pet bowls
- Administer medication to pets
- Prepare daily meals for dogs and cats, as per owner's instructions
- Monitor the health and wellness of pets in our care, report any signs of illness to your supervisor
- Take photos and write daily report cards of dogs and cats to email to clients
- Greet customers, communicate clearly their pet's behavior
- Perform temperament tests on new dogs
You may also:
- Assist in on-site Pet Training classes when needed
- Assist in on-site Pet Salon bathing dogs
- Check clients in and out at Front Desk
- Communicate with clients via phone, SMS and/or email
- Assist with company events
