Personnel Security Assistant 1 with Security Clearance

Job Description Position: Personnel Security Specialist Reports To: The Customer and Project Manager Clearance Type: Active TS Clearance Work Location: Washington D.C. Job Description: This position will support and conduct activities focusing on personnel security. The typical tour of duty for this position is from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays and weekends. At the request of the PM, the CSO, or the Personnel Security Specialist these hours can be changed with approval from the COR. This position will also assist and support the badging and identification office with all USAccess HSPD-12 credentialing, Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) credentialing, and logical access certifications. Personnel filling this position must be able to obtain a TOP SECRET level national security clearance. Education/Experience Requirements: The contractor assigned to this position must have a minimum of one-year personnel security experience. Contractor must have experience working with eQIP and a web-based background investigation database, such as CLEAR.
• Required education/experience o Experience working with eQIP, Personnel Security Databases such as Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Personnel Investigations Processing System (PIPS)/Central Verification System (CVS), Federal Personnel Payroll System (FPPS) o Experience working background investigation web-based database such as CLEAR.
• Preferred education/experience o Completion of a Personnel Security Suitability Adjudication Course o Proficient experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access.
