Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Personal Injury Case Managers to join our Legal team. The ideal candidate must have at least 2+ years of experience in the legal industry, with a strong background in Personal Injury law. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining an accurate record of personal injury claims from inception to closing.
- Working alongside the Personal Injury attorney in order to collect all required documentation in order to prepare demands and finalize the settlement process.
- Opening insurance claims for all applicable parties involved in a personal injury claims.
- Drafting and sending letters of representation to clients, clinics and insurance companies (any and all parties involved).
- Communicate with health insurance companies including private health insurance and Medicare/Medicaid in order to obtain coverage and negotiate medical bills.
- Reviewing policies, claims and other records to determine insurance coverage eligibility under Florida State laws.
- Obtaining the insurance coverage from all parties involved.
- Schedule and prepare clients (under the attorney supervision) for recorded statements, IME's and EUO's.
- Assist clients with providers, property damage claims.
- Ensure all files are organized, complete and ready for demand.
- Maintain workstation organized and prioritize workloads to accomplish daily tasks.
- Manage Global settlements or individual settlements (under the supervision of the attorney) and assist on the preparation of settlement disclosure in combination with accounting department.
- Drafted correspondence, letters of protection and other legal instruments including summarizing deposition and interrogatories.
- Maintaining communication with the clients to ensure they are up to day on their case and all their concerns are satisfied.
- Maintain communication with co-workers to ensure work quality and consistency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the legal industry
- Fluent in Spanish
- At least 2+ years of experience as an Personal Injury Case Manager
- Strong knowledge of personal injury laws, regulations, and policies
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
