Permanent General Surgery Position

Hospital seeks to recruit a BC/BE general surgeon to a "Bread and Butter" surgical group practice with 1:4 call. An interest or fellowship in breast surgery is a plus.

This is a great opportunity to join a young group growing to meet the needs of the expanding community. Hospital is located in Northern Indiana situated close to Chicago, Indianapolis and the Great Lakes. The community has an affordable cost of living and is a great place to work and live.

Position & Hospital Details:

• Established practice with 3 other General Surgeons

• Minimal Trauma

• Bread & Butter

• Endoscopy

• Work out of one hospital

• 72 bed hospital

• 5 OR Suites

• 14 ICU Rooms

• Hospitalist Program

• DaVinci not available

Candidate Criteria:

• NO new Residents at this time; STRONGLY prefer experienced

• AMG or FMG candidates

• NO Visa candidates

• General Surgeons BUT very open to GS with breast interest or breast fellow

• NO interest in the following Fellows: hand, CC, trauma, or Bariatrics
