Job Details

Are you passionate about oral health and dedicated to serving the community? We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic medical team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver top-notch dental care services in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered dental hygienist.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for:

1. Conducting dental assessments and oral examinations to identify dental health issues.
2. Providing preventative dental care services, including cleaning, scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealant application.
3. Educating patients on oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary impacts on oral health.
4. Assisting dentists with procedures and providing pre and post-operative instructions to patients.
5. Collaborating with the dental team to develop personalized dental hygiene plans for patients.
6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
7. Promoting community health and oral hygiene awareness through participation in community outreach programs.
8. Adhering to infection control and safety procedures in line with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Dental Hygienist role, you must have:

1. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
2. An Associate's degree or higher in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
3. Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in the state.
4. Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to put patients at ease.
6. Strong knowledge of dental procedures, oral hygiene practices, and patient management.
7. Experience in community health, with a focus on promoting oral health awareness.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
10. Current CPR certification.
