Position Summary:

The Performance Improvement (PI) Coordinator is the department's primary resource focusing on customer related performance and quality metrics. This position is responsible for the oversight of the Customer Feedback program, collaborating with Division Vice Presidents and Department Leaders to ensure that customer feedback responses are handled within the corporate timeframes. In addition, the PI Coordinator collaborates with the Behavioral Health (BH) Department through the provision of technical and analytic support of the Quality Management Process with respect to auditing BH electronic health records according to the Joint Commission (TJC) requirements. This position is also responsible for ensuring that the Hospital and BH programs are compliant with the Standards related to assigned Chapters of the Joint Commission Manual.

  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 Years Postgraduate Experience Working In The Healthcare Field.
  • Proficient In Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in utilizing analytical processes, computer proficiency, and ability to work with database software. Excellent assessment skills as well as an analytical approach to issues requiring investigation and resolution. Knowledge of State of Alaska Medicaid, federal regulations, and the Joint Commission Standards and Elements of Performance.
