Peoplesoft Security Administrator

Role: PeopleSoft Security Administrator Client: Texas State Remote (Local to Texas) Exp: 12+yrs Rate: $80/hour Day to day operational support to augment staff so their team can work on projects. SLA support requests so important the resource is available from 8-5pm CST. The PeopleSoft Security Administrator will assist with the Enterprise Access Management team to process access requests for the benefit of the students, faculty, and staff of the University. Responsibilities Oversees the Peoplesoft account administration processes, ensuring that account creations and modifications occur in a timely and appropriate manner. Creates and monitor role security objects and data permission constructs for campus solutions. Analyze and resolves security and access problems. Audits security, ensuring that all users are appropriately provisioned for their work functions. Supports application testing to identify and validate security changes related to upgrades and releases. Serve as a guide and consultant for security-related and other questions from colleagues. Responds to support desk tickets, ensuring that information is accurate, prioritized and assigned to a queue. Maintain confidentiality and comply with FERPA, HIPAA, University System policies, and related standards. Performing technical developments for automation of the security tasks. Implementation of single sign-on Peoplecode and supporting the application. Qualifications Immediate to Expert level of PeopleSoft security including security builds of roles and permissions. Experience with provisioning and user life cycle operations. Ability to work with a diverse population of users on campus. Experience with ticketing systems like JIRA or Team Dynamics a plus. Excellent customer interfacing skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution. Minimum 5+ years in a related field, preferably in the higher education industry.
