Position: Pediatrician Location: St. Louis, Missouri
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to pediatric patients, including well-child visits, immunizations, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
- Perform thorough physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and patient-centered care for pediatric patients.
- Educate parents and guardians on preventive care, child development, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to regulatory standards specific to pediatric care.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
- Active medical license in the state of Missouri.
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills in pediatrics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with pediatric patients and their families.
- Commitment to serving underserved populations and addressing pediatric health disparities.
- Experience in federally funded healthcare centers or working with underserved communities is preferred but not required.
