Location: Medical Center-Prosper Department: Prosper Plastic Surgery Shift: Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: Cook Children's Health Care System, based in Fort Worth, Texas, has initiated a national search for a BC/BE Plastic Surgeon who has a demonstrable proficiency in General Pediatric Plastic Surgery, including hand surgery and wound care, to join our new Medical Center in Prosper, Texas. This is an opportunity to join a well-established team of three full-time and one part-time Pediatric Plastic Surgeons based in Fort Worth. This department is also supported by Advanced Practice Providers as they attend to patients presenting with the entire spectrum of simple and complex pediatric plastic surgery diagnoses. Minimum qualifications The applicant must be board certified/board eligible in Plastic Surgery and have experience treating the pediatric population. Must be qualified to obtain an unrestricted Texas Medical License before commencing employment. Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required. American Heart Association BLS and PALS. Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) approved residency for Plastic Surgery.
